Our society is a team of professionals whose activities aim to:

• Promote the development of coloproctology in Georgia as a field of medicine, science, and technology. Restore the Department of Proctology and its academic activities.
• Introduce the highest international standards of colorectal disease diagnostics in Georgia. Improve the quality of medical care for patients and develop training programs within the field of coloproctology.
• Protect the professional interests of doctors working in the field of coloproctology.
• To achieve the set goals, the society will carry out various academic, educational, and scientific-research activities, organize projects and programs, have the competence of sectoral expertise and accreditation, conduct local and international events, cooperate with other organizations, interested persons, and agencies with similar goals.
• Develop national guidelines and protocols in coloproctology and related fields.
• Education, training, and qualification improvement of physicians, scientists, and secondary medical personnel working in coloproctology and related fields (general surgery, gastroenterology, endoscopy).
• Holding educational and scientific forums.
• Cooperation with international sectoral associations and joining them.
• Setting priority scientific research directions; planning, conducting, and supporting research projects. Attracting international research and participating in it.
• Organizing specialized exhibitions.
• Publishing educational and academic publications, books, magazines, and brochures.
• Cooperation with various ministries and other state bodies, and various professional associations of Georgia.
